Easter egg coloring techniques this year included crayons, rubber bands, electrical tape, Q-tips and two packages of PAAS.

    Next year we’ll need to tap into Slovenian traditional colorings. At dinner yesterday, Mateja was telling us about boiling eggs with the papery skins from red onions. She and Bojan did a hard-target search of area grocery store onion bins for all the scraps. The cashier thought they were nuts trying to pay for skins but no onions.
